distribute highly nutritious food to our partner programs and
into the hands of people that need it most: hungry children, adults,
seniors and families in Washtenaw County.
For every $5 you donate, Food Gatherers can provide up
to 13 meals to people in need.

Food Gatherers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation
is 100% tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Ninety-six
cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our food program.
Michigan Tax Credit: You may receive a 50% tax credit
for your donation to Food Gatherers on your Michigan Income Tax
Return. Individuals may claim 50% of gifts up to $200; married
couples filing jointly may claim 50% of gifts up to $400; and
businesses may claim 50% of gifts up to $10,000.
